The 2012 Running Grand Prix will be replacing the CHKD8K with the OK5K race and the Santa Shuffle 5K will be replaced by the Jingle Bell 5K.

Like the past couple of years, all Striders interested in joining the Grand Prix and being tracked need to contact the coordinator at runner@cox.net. I will be transferring over all of the 2011 Grand Prix members who ran three (3) or more races, so no need for you to contact coordinator, unless you wish to be deleted from the tracking.

Again, if you wish to volunteer, it is worth 50-points in the Grand Prix standings. It is not a requirement, but if you do decide to volunteer, please make sure it falls under the rules outlined under the "rules" on the Grand Prix page to the left on the www.tidewaterstiders.com home-page "top-center". Mainly, it says that the volunteering should be at a Strider race or a Strider function. If there are any questions as to this, please contact the volunteer coordinator listed in the Strider Rundown. Finally, all volunteer efforts should be completed by the Final Grand Prix race, as not to delay the end-of-the-year results.

Congratulations to all of the 2011 Grand Prix participants! For those not placing, do not be discouraged, as the Grand Prix is dynamic and 2012 may be your year!!
