i personally just wanna know whats the average amount striders run. As for me i don't train at all... i dont do great at the races but i complete everyone with an average time. i didnt even train for shamrock or rock n roll but still had no problems completing it.

I'm just in the 30s at the moment (coming back after taking time off in December). I typically don't go above mid 60s, even when I'm marathon training, whereas some of the Striders will up nearer 100 miles per week. Everyone is different and hopefully a few others will chime in with their weekly mileage.

I used to not train at all. Just did races. And, that includes marathons, half marathons, etc. I was always able to finish. Then, about a year and a half ago, I started training a little. And, I had a 22 minute PR for last year's Shamrock marathon. Not to mention, PRing some 5Ks. Most of my training is fast walking, (35 minute 5Ks) but I run once or twice a week. Total mileage varies between 25 and 35 miles per week.

I was hitting around mid 60's, but should be cranking out 80+ for a few weeks. Well, that is the plan anyway.
